En Elladi nonfat pork burger with tabbouleh salad

Juicy En Elladi burgers with nonfat mince and tabbouleh. A tasty dish with a Mediterranean touch.



    • 250 g groats
    • 400 g water
    • 25 g chopped parsley
    • 25 g spearmint
    • 10 g anise
    • 5 g coriander
    • 30 g fresh onion
    • 2 limes
    • 100 g hulled tomatoes
    • 50 g olive oil
    • salt
    • pepper


    • 20 g olive oil


In a pot add water and boil the groats for about 8 minutes. When the groats are moist, remove it from the fire and cover it with cooking plastic wrap. Chop the herbs, the fresh onion, and the tomatoes and place it in a bowl along with juice and zest from a lime, olive oil and spices. When the groats are cool enough add it the bowl with the rest of the ingredients and mix.

Open the package and slightly press the burgers to the desired shape and marinate them with some olive oil. Grill them for 14 minutes in the strong heat. Serve.

Τip: When grilling the burgers, turn them every two minutes so as to keep them juicy.
