Creta Farms is today the largest pork meat producer in Greece, with state-of-the-art facilities and a vertical production unit.

Its facilities include the following infrastructures, land, and units:

Total facility area: 200.000m2 | Built area: 50.000m2 | In the outdoor area: 7.000 trees and plants (palm and olive trees, eucalyptus) | Production | Logistics | Animal feed unit | Pig farm | A biological waste treatment plant| Composting plant

 

The company considers the respect for people and the environment as a core value and follows, therefore, an investment strategy in the state-of-the-art Research and Development (R&D) infrastructures by launching two innovative units:

  • in Rethymno, Crete, for meat and cold cuts (Meat & Cold Cuts)
  • in Sparta, Laconia, for cold cuts (Cold Cuts)

By making annual high-cost investments, we move on two main development axes: a. we ensure the supply of consistently high-quality products to the consumer, b. we protect the environment through a strictly “green” policy through integrated waste management systems.
