Creta Farms’ storage and distribution facilities for its raw materials, products and goods include six autonomous distribution centres:
in Rethymno and Iraklio (Crete), Athens, Patra, Thessaloniki and Larisa. All are fully equipped with special storage areas for refrigerated, frozen and dry freight, with a total capacity of 5,000 pallets.
The storage areas are fully monitored through a warehouse management software (WMS) system.
These autonomous facilities make use of the firm’s own specialized capacity fleet of vehicles to deliver orders to customers within their own and neighboring prefectures. The fleet can move 140 tons of goods daily.
The company has an extensive network of commercial representatives and wholesalers that cover areas that are too far from the distribution centers to be served directly. This network ensures the greatest possible geographic coverage of the market for the company’s products.
