Production of preserved meat
The fresh meat is delivered from the slaughterhouse and is transferred to the cutting-deboning section, where the meat is divided into pieces, which are processed according to the product for which they will be used.
Afterwards, the pieces are sent to the meat products’ production unit, where they are shaped depending on the product to be made. After shaping, the meat products are chilled and taken to the packaging department.
There they are marked, packaged and sent to the warehouses for finished meat products, from where they are forwarded for sale.
All stages of the production process (delivery, processing, packaging, storage, distribution) take place under controlled conditions (temperature, humidity) and undergo the strictest chemical and microbiological tests by the Quality Control department of Creta Farm S.A., according to the company’s HACCP study and all Quality Assurance Systems applied by the company (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, BRC, AGRO, ISO/TS 22002-1, FSSC 22000).
